Binding Finished Friday.....ready to go!

I finished stitching the binding on this quilt Friday, then I got sidetracked making a baby quilt.

I just need to wash this, dry it, admire the soft crinkliness of it and send it off.

This is a wedding gift.

I used the last of my Flea Market Fancy fabrics making it ~ I had been hording them waiting for a special project and this was it.

I hope they like it!

What a beautiful pattern! Did you design it? I am sure the recipients will treasure it.

Thank you for your comments...I'm so pleased that you like it. I actually made a sketch of a quilt I saw on flickr over a year ago (that's when I cut this one out!!! yikes!!!) I think it was designed by Atkinson and there is a pattern out there, but I just guesstimated the proportions and drafted my own pattern from it because I didn't know there was one.
I hope they like it....this young couple is very special.

Love flea market fancy. This is so sweet and pretty. I held onto my FMF for the perfect project too. Right now it's being quilted.
